WHAT IS: THE COELACANTHUS MYTHOS

The core philosophy of Coelacanthus is the belief that spirit inhabits everything [in nature]. All creatures great and small; every tree, flower and weed; every storm, breeze and cloud; every mountain, stone and sand; and ocean, pond, and puddle has its own soul or consciousness. We explore this belief by seeking out the wisest of their kind, like the Mystical Flying Turkey. Learning from them all that they can teach us then, cultivating it and using this wisdom to live in ecological harmony. Put forward by coelacanthus follower sir Edward Tylor circa 1871.

We are working on the Sacred Constitutions of Coelacanthus; a formal collection of major and minor beliefs including the above clause. This will be available for amendment at the time of its completion.
