12 oz can pinto beans
12 oz can black beans
12 oz can dark red kidney beans
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground oregano
1 tbsp paprika
2 large onions chopped
12 or 16 oz can crushed tomatoes
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
3 tbsp cider or malt vinegar
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 dash cayenne powder
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
2 tbsp brewed coffee (or)
2 tbsp dark beer (or both)
1 small piece dark chocolate
1 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 lbs krab meat ...
(or ground flesh or soy meat)
DALIKRAB CHILI
[substituting ground beef or soy-meat crumbles in place of krab results in my own for real world famous chili recipe. Note: may be made without any meat/soy/krab if desired.]


In a large heavy pot, heat oil and cook onion till transparent. Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika and garlic.. stir and cook 1 minute more. (if using meat or soy, add at this point and brown..if using krab, add during the last 5 minutes of cooking)

Add beans, tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Cook on low for at least an hour, stirring often. Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream (optional)
